McLibelMcLibel is the story of two ordinary people who humiliated McDonald’s in the biggest corporate PR disaster in history. McDonald’s loved using the UK libel laws to suppress criticism. Major media organizations like the BBC and The Guardian crumbled and apologized.
But then they sued gardener Helen Steel and postman Dave Morris. In the longest trial in English legal history, the “McLibel Two” represented themselves against McDonald’s £10 million legal team. Every aspect of the corporation’s business was cross-examined: from junk food and McJobs, to animal cruelty, environmental damage and advertising to children.
Outside the courtroom, Dave brought up his young son alone and Helen supported herself working nights in a bar. McDonald’s tried every trick in the book against them. Legal manoeuvres. A visit from Ronald McDonald. Top executives flying to London for secret settlement negotiations. Even spies.

The most interesting and information laden chapter of The Cause of Effect : Hijacking Humanity, Chapter 3 of the series, titled simply, "Commerce & Law" presents an alternative take on how our Law System works, especially in relation to money, as well as examining the concepts of Law of the Land (Common Law) and Law of the Water (Admiralty Law) and which is used to govern us today. Writer/Director Paul Verge relays his personal story about coming to terms with the grand deception of society's System. His journey travelling across Canada and the United States reveals insights rarely heard in today's mass media, because it is simply too profitable to keep this information secret. The legal system in its current state has existed for only a short time, but it is acting as a noose, slowly closing around our freedoms as we are fed the illusion that our fundamental human rights are evaporating. Learning your rights, the difference between a human and a Person (Legal Person vs. Natural Person), as well as the true origins and purpose of your Birth Certificate, Social Insurance/Social Security Number, and even what it really means to be an Employee, a Driver or a Taxpayer. Most Politicians were usually Lawyers (Liars?), and thus, is it not possible that these Lawyer Politicians with their foreign Legalese Language could not form their words to create invisible yokes around the people that serve the very originators of these excessive laws, restrictions and taxes? Why do we pay an income tax? Could it be that our Legal Status as a Federal Citizen is legally defined as that of a Government Employee, all of whom ARE in fact liable for income tax?

John Harris - Its an illusion
John Harris gives us his perspective on what's going on. He describes how we are economic slaves to a debt dependent system, notably achieved through the deception of the birth certificate and the creation of a legal fiction known as your 'PERSON'. It is this PERSON that the government then wields it's control upon. Although John points out that this arrangement only works when we consent.
Unfortunately inaction is taken as consent, hence we have unwittingly surrendered our inalienable rights through identifying with the PERSON. Remember you are a human being with god given rights, all you have to do is claim them.
Also the difference between a policeman and a police officer is described.

How we come to this conclusion is different for us all and ultimately this is not important. What is important is what we peacefully do about it. TPUC was created as a community for people across the world to communicate with and join other men and women who feel the same. It is not about politics, it is not about religion, it is not about money. Nor is it against them. Those who wish to pursue these things are free to do so.
TPUC is only concerned with two very similar principles - the truth of love, and the love of truth.
The truth knows no boundaries, and so we seek only to show people actual, factual information about the world around them.
The world is a complicated place, this is true, but it is built on a very simple foundation each and every time.

The Corporation - (Full Movie)
The Corporation is a 2003 Canadian documentary film written by Joel Bakan, and directed by Mark Achbar and Jennifer Abbott. The documentary is critical of the modern-day corporation, considering its legal status as a class of person and evaluating its behaviour towards society and the world at large as a psychiatrist might evaluate an ordinary person. This is explored through specific examples. The Corporation has been shown worldwide, on television, and via DVD, file sharing, and free download. Bakan wrote the book, The Corporation: The Pathological Pursuit of Profit and Power, during the filming of the documentary.
The documentary shows the development of the contemporary business corporation, from a legal entity that originated as a government-chartered institution meant to effect specific public functions, to the rise of the modern commercial institution entitled to most of the legal rights of a person. One theme is its assessment as a "personality", as a result of an 1886 case in the United States Supreme Court in which a statement by Chief Justice Morrison R. Waite[nb 1] led to corporations as "persons" having the same rights as human beings, based on the Fourteenth Amendment to the United States Constitution. The film's assessment is effected via the diagnostic criteria in the DSM-IV; Robert Hare, a University of British Columbia psychology professor and a consultant to the FBI, compares the profile of the contemporary profitable business corporation to that of a clinically-diagnosed psychopath. The documentary concentrates mostly upon North American corporations, especially those of the United States.
The film is in vignettes examining and criticizing corporate business practices. It establishes parallels between the way corporations are systematically compelled to behave and the DSM-IV's symptoms of psychopathy, i.e. callous disregard for the feelings of other people, the incapacity to maintain human relationships, reckless disregard for the safety of others, deceitfulness (continual lying to deceive for profit), the incapacity to experience guilt, and the failure to conform to social norms and respect for the law.
Topics addressed include the Business Plot, where in 1933, the popular General Smedley Butler exposed a corporate plot against then U.S. President Franklin Roosevelt; the tragedy of the commons; Dwight D. Eisenhower's warning people to beware of the rising military-industrial complex; economic externalities; suppression of an investigative news story about Bovine Growth Hormone on a Fox News Channel affiliate television station; the invention of the soft drink Fanta by the Coca-Cola Company due to the trade embargo on Nazi Germany; the alleged role of IBM in the Nazi holocaust (see IBM and the Holocaust); the Cochabamba protests of 2000 brought on by the privatization of Bolivia's municipal water supply by the Bechtel Corporation; and in general themes of corporate social responsibility, the notion of limited liability, the corporation as a psychopath, and the corporation as a person.

This is how we could improve Canada's financial situation. We have our own publicly owned central bank and laws in place allowing us to borrow money from it interest free! loans for infrastructure, public works and the general betterment of our country. The money printed as a result of the use of this central bank would represent real value! currently 95% of our money represents debt.......how is debt something of value? isnt money supposed to represent tangible assets? This is so simple yet they complicate the system so that we blindly accept their debt enslavement.

The issue of seeing ment/mente as a suffix is a bit of a slap in the face because the only use of government is to control the mind. -ment
suffix forming nouns, originally from Fr. and representing L. -mentum, which was added to verb stems sometimes to represent the result or product of the action.
The mente is Latin for mind, like "meant". Some try to confuse the 'mente' with the suffix ment, but, in the political sense, there is no application for governing (steering/controlling) others complete and permanent control of the human mind.
